The EWU Young Democrats will be hosting a bake sale in the PUB, February 1-4. All proceeds will be donated to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund. Please stop by during the week, and pick up a snack, while supporting this great, non-partisan cause. $1 suggested donation. Start: 15:31
On February 9th, voters in Seattle will be asked to renew two expiring levies that provide essential funding for Seattle’s schools. If you live and vote in Seattle, you should have already received your ballot. If you have not received your ballot, or need a replacement, call the King County voter hotline at 206-296-VOTE (8683). Neither of these levies is a new tax; they renew expiring levies. The capital projects levy addresses basic safety issues like replacing old roofs, retrofitting and upgrading buildings for earthquake safety, and replacing fire alarms and sprinkler systems. Start: 18:00
End: 23:59
Come to the Copper Hog this Tuesday, Feb 2 at 6pm. There is no agenda, no business, just hanging out with young dems! There is an all-ages section at the Hog, it's fine if you aren't 21. And don't worry, you will still have time to catch the premiere of Lost. | ||
