Lobby Day
The Young Democrats of Washington Lobby Day is Monday, February 17 (President’s day). We’ll spend a day at the Capital in Olympia. There will be meetings with State Legislators, guest speakers, and lunch for all Young Democrats who join us!
Our Vice President of Political and Legislative Affairs Alex Clardy (Alex.Clardy@YDWA.org) is taking the lead on this event. He’ll be working with local chairs to help organize, and can be contacted if you have any questions.
State Convention
The Whatcom and Skagit County Young Democrats are hosting the Young Democrats of Washington’s 2014 state Convention!
The 2014 Convention will be April 4-6 in Bellingham at The Best Western Plus Lakeway Inn & Convention Center. Registration will open in January, stay tuned for more information on programming and speakers.
Want to support Young Democrats? We are seeking sponsors for our 2014 Convention. Sponsorship ranges from $250 – $1,500 and goes to paying for the cost of convention and YDWA activities in 2014. Contact Lynda Foster at Lynda.Foster@YDWA.org for more information.
