YDWA at the Vancouver WSDCC meeting

Over two dozen Young Democracts joined the WSDCC for their Vancouver meeting – and showed up with Seahawks pride!

We hosted a table to sell buttons and T-shirts – as well as to talk with state committee people and local LD and County chairs about our campaign for gender parity in Young Democrat representation to the WSDCC. We have been excited by the encouragement we’ve received, and by the willingness of so many people to sign a public pledge in support of our campaign. Thank you to everyone working with us to make sure gender is equally represented in the state party!
Finally, congratulations to Jaxon Ravens for being elected state party chair! He has done fantastic work as the WSDCC, and as a former President of the Young Democrats of Washington we know he’ll be a great partner in our work to keep Washington blue.
