It’s that time of year again to paint the town blue (PTB)! Except this year may be the most important PTB in YDWA history. In the time of 45, we can flip a district and take control of the Washington State Legislature. This is critical to resisting the national agenda, and progressing our state for everyone who lives here, no matter gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or religion.

What does a PTB entail? This year we will learn about the labor movement from the Washington State Labor Council, will doorbell for Manka Dhingra in the 45th LD (as well as strong local candidates in Duvall and Redmond), and have fun with Go-Carts! All costs including hotels are covered with a small fee of 25 dollars per person. You will have the opportunity to meet Young Democrats across the state!

Join us September 22nd-24th. General Agenda as follows:

  1. I live close enough that I don’t really need a hotel- maybe could use it saturday evening but that’s it. I would like to attend Saturday for the doorbelling training and for doorbelling round 1, and then I’ll do dinner and go karts and then how to run a campaign on sunday. I won’t have time to do the 2nd doorbelling event and friday evening check-in however. Paypal isn’t working as well, so I can’t register.

  2. I would like to attend for the “how to run a campaign” portion of the weekend. I’m working on a political campaign and very new to all of this but I’d like to learn. I’m not however, under the age of 35. Can I attend? Do I need to pay $25?
